It has been a while since we have posted an update on the Bulletin, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been anything happening behind the scenes. Over the past few months, our maintenance volunteers have been hard at work re-siding part of the old 1899 Blacksmith Shop.
In the process, volunteer Mike Vargas crafted a new table out of some of the old siding, and we thought we would share the results with you! Small projects like this invoke the true essence of Railtown, save and reuse as much material as possible and save a buck or two. This case of adaptive reuse makes for a creative way to spend time working at Railtown.
